The Lancastrian Awards International Aid Trust

Bernard founded the International Aid Trust over 30 years ago.

During that time the charity has created and supported major projects in India, Sierra Leone, Moldova, the Philippines, the United Kingdom and Ukraine.

Since February 2022, the trust has sent 33 articulated lorries to Ukraine with over 450 tons of aid (food, clothing, medicines etc.).

Bernard recently visited Ukraine for 2 months to work with the staff and volunteers distributing the aid to the towns and villages on the front line
