We have kept subscriptions as low as possible to avoid excluding people on low incomes and small businesses. Increased payments are always welcome.
If you choose to pay by PayPal your membership will commence immediately. However, if you choose to pay by Standing Order your membership will run from when your payment is received. For administrative reasons we no longer accept cheques. We prefer you to register online (below), but if you would prefer to complete a paper application form, please download the Membership Form (below) and e-mail or post it to us.
The Lancastrian Awards are held each year to recognise those individuals and organisations who epitomise the true Lancastrian spirit by supporting others in their communities and being dedicated to making a difference.
Nominees are shortlisted and categorised according to Lancashire’s historic hundreds. The winners of the awards are selected by a group of judges, made up of Friends of Real Lancashire’s committee members and other proud Lancastrians.
To be eligible for recognition, organisations must have a base in Historic Lancashire and individuals should have been born in, live in, work in or have some interest in the protection and promotion of the historic county.
Applications open on 1 September each year. A nomination form will be posted here nearer the time. Winners are announced on Lancashire Day 27 November
