Eric, at nearly 90 years young, is an inspiring figure in the Ormskirk and District Scouts. His legacy as a Scout Leader at the 5th Ormskirk Scout Group and his ongoing involvement with the Ormskirk District Scouts SASU Fellowship exemplify his dedication to youth and community development.

 

His service extends well beyond scouting. Eric has been a pivotal figure in leading the Remembrance Day and St. George's Day parades, contributing significantly to these vital community traditions.

 

Additionally, Eric has served with distinction as a Church Warden at Ormskirk Parish Church, demonstrating his commitment to both faith and community service. His continuous active role in the church underscores his enduring dedication.

 

Eric Simms truly embodies the spirit of a Lancastrian - steadfast, community-minded, and full of compassion.
