Day 28 Lancashire Boundary Walk

Good morning followers. Today I am catching a slightly later train at 8.15am to Lancaster and then to Morecambe. Notice the journeys are getting shorter. I’ve taken a photo of a somewhat quieter station than yesterday. Even the Starbucks girl has got time to dust the sign on the kiosk.

Day 29 Lancashire Boundary Walk.
Good morning Friends, Romans and Countrymen. Susan brought me to Preston Station nice and early for the 08.03 Trans Pennine Express to Lancaster as I was going to do an interview with John Gilmore on BBC Radio Lancashire. That I did at 7.50. Hope it came over alright to listeners. Today, I’m going to walk from Lancaster to Pilling via Condor Green, Glasson Dock and Cockerham. My friend Peter Allen will pick me up at the Golden Ball. This is all familiar territory having walked and ridden it on my horse. Just arrived in Lancaster and couldn’t leave here without taking photos of the John O’ Gaunt Gate of Lancaster Castle and Lancaster Priory. So off we go down the Lancashire Coastal Path. It’s now raining so better put my anorak on.

Day 30
Final day of My Lancashire Boundary Walk.
Susan has brought me to Pilling and it is from here that I will walk the coastal path to Knott End, take the Ferry to Fleetwood then carry on to Blackpool.
ETA 2.30pm to 3pm. Will keep you posted. Raining and windy in Pilling but not too heavy.

Mission accomplished. Congratulations
