The images on this page have been produced by the Friends of Real Lancashire web designer and have been made available for free use since 1997.

Unfortunately despite requesting that people do not link directly to the images on this site we have half a dozen or so new cases of bandwidth theft every month, mostly people using the red rose in a signature file on a forum with a sporting theme. This means that every time a thread containing a post by the bandwidth thief is viewed, a request is made to our server, hits in the range of 5000 per month are not unusual. In August 2003 the banner at the bottom of this page was requested 13880 times due to just one person adding the link in his signature file on one forum!

Every month without fail the most popular search engine request that results in a link to this site is the phrase 'Lancashire rose'.

No full images are now used on the site in order to prevent hotlinking but all the images below are still available for download as a zip archive- forl.zip

If you wish to use an image on a forum, download the zip archive and upload the file you wish to use to the free web space that your ISP provides or to a free hosting site. You might find these links useful:
